Dawn’s Bio

Dawn Muncaster is the vice president of the Fraser Valley Astrologer Guild, based in the Vancouver-Fraser Valley area of British Columbia, Canada . She is a consulting astrologer, a pastoral counsellor and spiritual seeker of the mysteries of life. Dawn has written a series of astro-spiritual articles called “Music of the Spheres” which is published on her website www.dawnastrology.com.

In addition, she has written columns and articles for community magazines and the Fraser Valley Astrological Guild website on various spiritual and astrological topics. She is passionate about her work and has lectured at the Soul Awareness Society, The Astrology Guild and for various spiritual groups. Dawn has also been involved with Unity of the Valley New Thought Church in White Rock, B.C. Canada , where she served on the board and in other leadership roles. She has great enthusiasm for the hidden messages in the Bible, the metaphysical and esoteric teachings of the real Jesus, the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda, the compassion of Buddhism, the Science of Numbers and the Mystical Kabbalah, psychology, and astrology. Eventually, after years of introspection and study, Dawn has come to know the Bible as one of the most mystical, astrological and metaphysical books ever written, and is warmly enthusiastic about its many levels of interpretation. And…she will be sure to tell you all about her spiritual philosophy!

After experiencing a mystical and life changing bio-chemical spiritual awakening Dawn began a spiritual quest to research, understand, and integrate the phenomena of kundalini awakening and multi-dimensional states of consciousness. She has studied many of the mystical and metaphysical teachings of astrology and spirituality for the past thirteen years. As her interest grew she developed a new way of reading an astrological chart by using numerology and geometria. And because she is one of those detailed Virgo’s, she has a great interest in the Sabian Symbols, degrees as signatures and symbols, and fixed stars. She’s into changing patterns and DNA! Dawn is also working on a book based on her kundalini and rebirth experience, where she will illustrate the correlation between the numbers in the birth chart and scripture passages, and share the spiritual wisdom and revelations given to her through mystical states of consciousness.

My Story

My story may at times seem like science fiction, but I assure you it is not, this is the ‘Absolute truth’. I first became interested in astrology at the young age of 7 when my father and I would take long walks and star gaze. My mother and I would discuss the synchronicity of the number thirteen in our lives, and wondered what does this mean and how could this be just a coincidence? By the age of 15, I was convinced there was some truth to astrology and numbers, but I did not follow my intuition at the time. At my first Saturn return, my sister bought me my first astrology book and that is when I started to experience other synchronistic events and became interested in the Bible. My quest for the truth had truly begun. I found myself with an astrology chart in one hand and the bible in the other!

At that time, however, I was busy raising my sons and establishing a career. Then… at age 40, at the Uranus opposition, and the Uranus/Neptune conjunction, it happened. I had the most profound spiritual awakening with symptoms imitating a near death experience and a spiritual rebirth… It was very intense, a loud sound that seemed to come with within and without permeated by being, and I saw an ancient zodiacal wheel that was spinning counter-clockwise in my vision. At the same time an uncontrollable force went though my body in the same manner as labour. I had told the universe the night before that I was ready to give up my life as I had known it; I would follow my intuition and stand for what I believed in. I did not realize fully at the time what happened, but now know I had experienced a spiritual rebirth and a spontaneous kundalini rising.

I had been doing intense inner work and must have connected with my the cellular memory of my original birth experience, which in turn triggered the kundalini power which lies dormant at the base of the spine until one is ready to connect to other realities. I began to have visions of Egypt , mathematical symbols, and religious figures such as Jesus, Paramahansa Yogananda, and Buddha. It had been quite a wake up call and I was now ready to make sweeping changes with my life and career. I finally understood that the universe had been with me all the time and was guiding me toward my purpose.

I began to comprehend that something had dramatically changed, and that was me. Somehow, I had tapped into the Mind of God; others would call it ‘the unified field or The Kingdom of Heaven’. I began to experience light coming from within and started to receive visions, experience telepathy, and receive transmissions from somewhere out there. I would ask the universe a question and it would reply through visions, numbers, written messages in English, my native tongue, scripture passages, Kabbalah and tarot symbology, lucid dreams, music, and finally telepathic conversations. After many of these experiences, I asked, "who are you?" and they said, "you don’t need to know now."

I was told "the universe is inside of you, be creative and boundless, and help others.” I followed their instructions and continued to study metaphysics, yoga, and new thought religions, still searching to know the truth; pondering where did I come from, and where did we all come from? I was looking for the original moment in time and cause of how creation began. I wondered and had great curiosity about the ones that were guiding me. They were not ready to announce themselves to me, yet I knew they were wonderful light beings guiding me as I adjusted to a new way of life. Then, through a series of synchronistic events, I was given the opportunity to attend a summer conference in astrology at the University of British Columbia, and Sancta Sophia Seminary in Oklahoma to begin more intense studies into the ancient language of astrology and spirituality. Throughout I was also absorbed in studies about philosophy and doctrines of the Kabbalah, Eastern Scriptures, Buddhism, psychology, and ‘new thought’ churches such as Science of Mind and Unity Churches. Moreover, I found the work of Dr. Stanislav Grof, Graham Hancock, Gregg Braden, Drunvalo Mechezidek, Itzhak Bentov, Carl Jung, Albert Einstein, Johannes Kepler, and my mathematical mentor Pythagoras fascinating.

As time went by I began to understand my visions, dreams and the symbology. It felt like I was learning a new language, and I was. I was actually communicating with this intelligence. Perhaps it was angels, light beings, my higher self or even extraterrestrials. All these were possibilities and I believe all are one in the Mind of God. Finally, my continuing experiences began to make more sense, and after several years of research and reflection the spiritual awakening was starting to integrate into who I was. The visions and communications through the application of astrology and scripture passages were a major key. With each vision I would calculate an astrology chart and further interpret it by using Sabian symbols (a 360° set of symbolic archetypes of the zodiac). My guiding light beings showed me the scripture passage Romans 12.2 ‘Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you will know the perfect will of God’. The numbers 12.2 were correlated with my part of fortune in the ninth house of my astrology chart! Further, I also had a vision of the scripture passage Acts 2.-2.15, The Coming of the Holy Spirit by Fire.

Amazingly, this experience happened on August 2, (which is 214 th day) of 1993 at approximately 9 o’clock am , just as it says in the passage! In addition, these numbers were on the progressed 8th house cusp of my chart which governs transformation. I knew something miraculous had happened and that I was finally on the right path. The guiding lights, were trying to show me what actually had happened to me, which has now become my passion and work.

There is a connection between numbers in the chart and the numbers in the scripture passages in the Christian Bible. Although I have not researched other scripture passages, I do believe that other cultures would connect with the scriptures of their beliefs and religions, including the pyramid texts and other similar manuscripts. My beliefs and research has shown me the Bible is also an astrological mandala. You could even say that it could be used in the same manner as the Sabian symbols. There is also a correlation with the degrees in the chart, the Sabian symbols, fixed stars, asteroids, other space objects, and the DNA. Whoever it was, was guiding me into a new way of life and a new field of knowledge. When the movie ‘Contact’ was released, I was greatly moved, as the story was so similar to my experience. My friend had only months before suggested that I write a book and have a movie made of it, then have Jodie Foster play my part.! I knew that I too, really had made "contact.”

Today I best define myself as an astrologer, spiritual teacher, writer, and researcher of the mysteries of the universe. I have an aptitude for connecting random events and digging beneath the surface of situations to see the invisible realm as it shows itself through symbology, logical reasoning, intuitive sensing, and the law of cause and effect. Currently I continue to research the workings of astrology in relation to and synthesis with the numerical values of the planets as well as the Sabian symbols, the geometry and symbolism of the Kabbalah, the tarot, fixed stars, pulsars, novas, symbols and the Bible. I am fascinated and in awe of the process of transformation and feel, that it is my responsibility to share this story of miraculous transformation and rebirth with others as well as the information and knowledge that has been transmitted through me.

I continue to stay aware of new discoveries in science, astrology, psychology, yoga and different religions and philosophies. I believe we are all sons of God and we can all experience a spiritual renewal. So, keep an open mind and believe that anything is possible. What we see on the surface is only a mask of the deeper mystery. Ask yourself, what is my truth? Then, let your intuition connect to your heart. I also believe that everyone builds their own sanctuary within themselves and finds their own answers within. What is right for one person may not resonate with another. However, one thing I know for sure is the truth behind this passage: "Seek and you shall find, knock and the doorway will be opened to you." Matthew, 7:7 and Luke, 11:9-13.

Wherever you are on your personal journey, I hope that you will open your mind to the place where the soul and personality meet, at the point of light from within. My core belief is "Listen to the inner voice.”
